Privacy policy.
Your enquiry belongs in a conversation about your project. This policy explains what information is used, why it is used and the choices you have.
Who is responsible
Darius LaBelle, trading as Day’s Work, is responsible for deciding how the personal information described here is handled. The business operates in the United Arab Emirates. Contact info@daysworkstudio.com for privacy enquiries.
Information and purposes
The enquiry form asks for your name, business name, email address, service interest, optional budget range and project description. Your existing website is optional. It also records your permission to use these details to respond. Please include only information needed to discuss your project, without sensitive personal details or information about other people.
Enquiry information is used to reply, understand your requirements, prepare a proposal and manage the project conversation. It is not used to subscribe you to marketing emails or sold to other businesses. There are no visitor accounts and no separate customer database. Enquiry details are sent to the studio by email and remain in that correspondence according to the retention described below.
The form asks for consent to handle your enquiry. Where applicable law permits, information may also be handled to take steps you request before a contract, perform an agreed project or meet a legal obligation.
Analytics and cookies
This website does not currently use Google Analytics, advertising cookies or analytics tracking. It does not collect analytics data or require an analytics preference. The enquiry form works without analytics.
Providers and international transfers
The enquiry form is processed by Google Apps Script under Darius LaBelle’s Google Workspace account and sends the submitted details to info@daysworkstudio.com. The form handler does not keep a separate database or spreadsheet copy. Google Workspace stores the resulting email correspondence. Website hosting and delivery providers may also process limited technical information needed to serve pages and protect the website.
Google and hosting providers can process information in countries other than where you live, including outside the UAE, Canada or the European Economic Area. Applicable requirements can include contractual protections, recognised transfer arrangements or another lawful transfer basis. A provider’s participation in an international framework does not automatically resolve every transfer obligation.
Access is limited to people and providers who need the information for these purposes. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or needed to establish or defend legal rights. Read Google’s privacy policy for its handling of information.
Retention and security
Enquiry correspondence is retained while it is needed to answer your request, discuss a proposal or manage an agreed project. Once those purposes end, information is deleted unless it remains necessary for an applicable record keeping requirement, an unresolved dispute or the establishment or defence of legal rights. The type of record and the relevant obligation determine that period.
Access controls, secure connections and limited access help protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to your information, you may request access, a copy, correction, deletion, restriction of use or portability. You may also object to certain uses, withdraw consent and complain to the competent privacy authority. There is no automated decision making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Send your request to info@daysworkstudio.com. Only the information reasonably needed to confirm your identity and process the request is requested. Rights and response requirements depend on the applicable regime, including relevant UAE federal or free zone rules, Canadian law and GDPR where it applies. Mandatory rights are not limited by this policy.
Ask AI links
The ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity links open an external service with a prepared question and public business information about Day’s Work. They do not include your form entries or a transcript of your enquiry. The external provider handles your use of its service under its own terms and privacy policy. Accounts, cookies, prompts and responses on that service are outside this website’s control.
